.. the track list looks frightning! Not sure if I can cope with this mono-chord-monster of stupidity... anyway, let'em come Michael, torture me for good, I just can't wait! (nice cover-pic, btw)....

thanks once again for your great comps. will this constitute more volumes of this cover? thanks

michael, the monster is coming, beware of it///

@davidwolfsonnc:

y r welcome//
i'm not sure but i don't think that more volumes will add any interest to this one chord tune...
Anyway if you like to listen to more versions of "LO1D" just select some tracks from the above list, send me an email, give me some time and i'll mail you the link in a week or somethin///

Wow! Dizzy but still alive! I somehow managed to survive 28 LOTD-versions (I had to take off 2 tracks as they exceeded the 70' limit), and I was much surprised: The one-chord monster you created is, against all odds, amazing, never boring, and various! Despite the lack of harmony-changes, here’s a continuos charge of intense energy, pulsating rhythm, and different approaches (the Mods from Holland even show how to deliver the fun with a completely new rhythm-pattern). I really can’t say what are my fave versions, I honestly enjoyed every single tune, from the dumb-ass version by The Tyme (good choice to kick-start the madness with it!) to Los Cuernos who excel by introducing unusual harmonies. I still wonder how you succeeded in identifying the hilarious hymn to Ursula (= Andress) or the G&M (who morph our dancefloor-anthem into a romantic love-song singing about a Princess and her King, Italians love romance and theatrical effects!) as version of our theme?
Out of the leftovers, I chose 28 tracks that don’t show up in my collection for CD#2, so tonight will be another adventure in the Land of 1000 Na na na na na’s! I’ll send you the bill for the psychiatric sessions later!

Michael

good luck with partII
if you want, send the track list with the 28 tracks you've chosen so i'll give it a listen (not now of course but weeks later-when this na na na madness calm down in my head-).

And ok, i will pay the bill...

...
and is Ursula (at the Tom & Jerry Et Les Sharks version) stands for Ursula Andress?
nice...
